My research encompasses the events in colonial Massachusetts and Virginia from the American Revolution, into statehood and through the U.S. Constitutional debates in 1788. Furthermore, I juxtapose the relationships of the men who stood in unity and evolution of their relationships politically, ideologically, and morally.
