Bio:

I study early Medieval Europe, with a focus on Justinian's Plague (The First Plague Pandemic) with Dr. Lois Huneycutt. I am currently branching out to learn more about French and Italian spheres of influence during this period, as well as research tools and methods such as GIS and Medical Anthropology. I am especially interested in cross-cultural contacts, memory, medicine, and the body.  I am continuing to pursue my interest in the Atlantic World, which is my outside research area.
