Friday, 11 April

3:00-4:00 PM – The State Historical Society of Missouri offers a guided tour of its facilities. The tour will include introductions to the Society's art, newspaper, photographic, and references collections and a special preview of the Main Gallery's special exhibition, "Thomas Hart Benton in the 1930s." 

4:00-4:45 PM – Conference participants are invited to a guided introduction to the State Historical Society of Missouri's and MU's Western Historical Manuscript Collection.

Both facilities are located at Ellis Library on the MU campus. Tours are free and will meet at the reception table 10 minutes in advance of the start time. 

7:30-9:00 PM – Reception for conference participants and guests at the Cherry Street Artisan, 111 South 9th Street (two blocks from the MU campus). Beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks will be provided for a $5.00 fee payable at the registration table.

Saturday, 12 April

9:00 AM-4:00 PM – The Main Gallery of the State Historical Society of Missouri presents "Thomas Hart Benton in the 1930s." Ellis Library, MU campus. Free.

4:00-5:00 PM – Closing reception at The Heidelberg Restaurant, 410 S. 9th Street.
